"The Face in the Trees" Lesson
by Carla

Date: 13 - Jul - 2009
Level: intermediate
Age: +14

Description:
This is a poem about polluting the environment and how nature is personified as a face in the trees. I have defined "illusion" and "sigh," and I created a small wordsearch. (There is a hyperlimk to a dictionary.)This lesson is to make us more aware of the environment and how poetry can be a vehicle to make us aware of what we are doing to the enviornment.

This would be useful for older teens. Great job!
