MODALS FOR PAST DEDUCTIONS
 
Read the sentences and complete the deductions with the correct model: "can't", "might", or "must".
1. A taxi driver says that he took Betty to Inez's house.
         She  have walked to Inez's house.
 
2. Albert and Jessica went to Chicago but on June 7 Jessica was in Quiet Town.
          They   have gone other day.
             
3. Karen says she was out taking a walk and the weather was dry. But it was raining between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
         She  have gone out before 8 p.m.
 
4. Betty says she baked a cake and Jessica and Inez ate some of it.
