LESSON 2: CHOOSE A HOST
1) Watch the grammar tuto below.
If you are looking to gain farm experience in Canada's true North, then look no further!
My wife and I (be) WWOOFer hosts since 2009 and we (have) many wwoofer from all over the world in the past. When we (sign up) to the WWOOF program 11 years ago, we (be) the second farm in our region to do so. We (always/ enjoy) welcoming people from many different countries so far but due to the present situation with the COVID virus we (make) many changes to our farm. We (have) two people on our farm who (have to) self isolate for two weeks. Our focus now is to survive the pandemic and at the same time nourish our community. So, we still need someone but you must be healthy and able to take appropriate precautionary measures before coming to our farm.
My wife is a free-spirited traveler. She (be) all over the world and loves to immerse herself in different cultures. As for me, I’m just a prairie boy. I (grow up) in a southwest Saskatchewan rural setting, so living close to the land (be) a way of life. I come from a family of ranchers and farmers and (work) very hard to get to a position where my family and I can start a homestead of our own.
Activities here are endless. If you (never/go) hiking, you will appreciate the beautiful trails in the area!
