Verbs: Future tense
Future tense is usually formed by will + infinitive:
  • I will meet you tomorrow
  • Will you come to my birthday?

Future tense can also be formed by shall + infinitive (even though this is becoming somewhat old-fashioned):

  • We shall all meet
  • I shall bring your birthday present tomorrow

Will and Shall are usually shortened to 'll:

  • He'll come tomorrow
  • They'll never do it
  • I'll tell him on Wednesday
  • We'll meet again next week
