��������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� SHIPWRECK ! Sweden's most famous sailing ship was called the Vasa. It was (1)buildbuildingbuilthave built in Stockholm nearly 400 years ago. It was (2)talltallertall thanas tall as� three houses and took several years to build. It had lots of guns and lots of beautiful wood. Although the ship was well-made, there (3)iswaswerehad been� one big problem. The top of the ship was too heavy (4)sobecausebecause ofthen all the guns. (5)InAtOnNear�10th August 1628 the Vasa was ready to sail. Thousands of people were waiting in Stockholm harbour to see her leave. The sailors rose the sails and the ship (6)startstratedstartinghad starting� to move. A gentle wind had (7)blewblownblowblowing, but the ship had only gone1300 metres when the wind started blowing (8)�strongmore strongmore strongerstrongly. The sails filled and the ship capsized. One minute it was there and the�(9)afternextbeforecoming it had disappeared. It had been carrying 100 men, and 50 were drowned. In 1956, a diver found the wreck in 33 metres of water. The Vasa had been laying on the bottom (10)foronlongat 300 years! But it wasn't badly damaged. In 1961, they raised the ship and it is now in a museum in Stockholm
