 Now let's put the verbs into the second forms to form Past Simple. If you have difficulties to remember, use the table in the previous exercise.  
  1. He  (write) a nice story yesterday.
  2. He  (get) a good mark at school.
  3. I  (drink) three cups of coffee yesterday.
  4. She  (shut) the door loudly.
  5. The birds  (fly) away last week.
  6. They  (spend) three days in Salacgriva.
  7. We  (go) to the cinema yesterday.
  8. We  (take) a taxi to the airport.
