                                      The Italian Restaurant

Two weeks ago it was my mom’s birthday so we decided to take her out for a meal. “Where would you like to go?” my dad asked. “I like pizza” mom replied. So we decided to take her to the new Italian restaurant at the end of our village near seven eleven.

My friend Peter and his family had been there and he said the pizza was great. We were lucky we got a seat at the window, which looked to the street and across to the lake. “What would you like to drink” asked the waiter in a foreign accent. He left us to read the menu, as he went to get our drinks.

When he returned dad ordered an extra large family pizza and mum wanted garlic bread. “you should try our spaghetti bolognese its delicious and inexpensive?” he said. So we all nodded in agreement and off he went with our main order to the kitchen. In less than five minutes, he was at our table again with the garlic bread and the spaghetti dish. “Your pizza will take a little longer” he apologized and went to another table. “The service is great here” said mom. Soon the pizza arrived and we all ate up and we all agreed, the food was great and that we would come again soon.
